We will be continuing to follow the theme of Jubilee, with each year group looking at events from the decades Queen Elizabeth II has ruled – 1950s onwards.
The children will be studying historical events, films and tv, art, music and dance from their particular decade, over the course of the week.
On the Thursday afternoon (30th June), there will be music and dance performances.
The music will be from those children who are part of the ensembles and choirs run in school by Brent Music -lower (Year 2) /junior choirs (Year 4), year 3 recorder ensemble, year 4 recorder ensemble, the ukulele ensemble (Year 5).
The following classes will be representing their year groups and performing music from their curriculum this year; 1W, 2S, 3P, 4S, 5W, 6W
Parents of those children involved in the music will be able to come and watch their children perform. This will start at 2:00 p.m. on the Thursday.

This will start at 1:15 p.m. and all parents/carers are welcome to join us. Adults with pre-school children will be in front of the hall, other adults will be on the balcony. We will not be able to provide seating for everyone.
We are asking for a £1 donation to help buy resources for the week. This can be brought in on the 27th or 28th June and given to the class teacher.
There will then be a number of stalls set up including; glitter tattoos, giant bubbles, cake decorating, face painting, beat the goalie, guess the sweets in a jar, tombola and giant bubbles. This will run from the end of the school day until 4:15 p.m.

We can’t wait to see you.
