Dear Parents,
I hope you and your families are well.

Last week we welcomed back to school Nursery, Reception and Year 1. It was lovely to see more children at school. Our provision for year 6 and key worker children is also continuing.

As a school we have decided that we will not be opening for any further year groups this term. We have made this decision based upon a number of factors including; staff availability, low pupil numbers attending school at the moment and the number of weeks left until the end of term.

We are very busy, however, planning for September. At the moment we do not exactly know what this will look like but we are ensuring that we are planning in detail for a number of scenarios. As soon as I have any details from the government I will write to you to share our plan.

It is wonderful that the government has agreed to provide lunch vouchers throughout the summer. We will continue to provide food hampers up until the end of term.
At the start of the summer we will only be able to distribute food vouchers to families on our list of those who are entitled. Vouchers will only be distributed once at the start of the summer holiday for the six week period. If you think you may now be entitled then you must apply. An email has gone out to all families.

Please remember all children receive a free school meal from reception to year 2. This is a universal offer and does not mean that you are entitled to Free School Meals-you must apply for this.
In addition all families who are in receipt of Free School Meals must ensure that the school has an up-to-date email since vouchers will be emailed directly to you.
Please contact the school if you have any questions.

Take care,
Mrs Taylor-Kent
